Entrepreneurial Journey & Achievements

Early Career in the U.S.

Marfia gained extensive experience in construction, real estate, and environmental conservation while living in the United States. Her deep interest in sustainable development led her to work in Cox's Bazar and Chittagong in 2007, where she focused on tourism development and job creation.

Returning to Bangladesh

In 2009, she returned to Bangladesh with a vision to introduce Bio-Earth's patented waste management and recycling technologies. Her leadership was quickly recognized, and she was nominated as the Country Director of a U.S.-based IT corporation, where she facilitated collaborations with local stakeholders. She also led a high-profile GE delegation to Bangladesh, further establishing her credibility as a global business leader.

Expanding into Real Estate & Infrastructure

Returning to her primary passion, Marfia founded American Ai BD, a real estate development firm. Under her leadership, the company has undertaken several landmark projects, including:

  • Residential & commercial developments
  • Hospitals & schools
  • Eco-friendly resorts & model towns

Her latest initiative, Kuakata American Ai BD, is a transformative project aimed at developing Bangladesh's neglected southeast region. It integrates industrial production, alternative energy, organic agriculture, tourism, healthcare, and education—all while creating jobs for local communities.

Philanthropy & Social Welfare Initiatives

Marfia's impact extends far beyond business. As the Founder, President, and CEO of the Ma O Maati Marfia Foundation, she is committed to improving lives through:

  • Secured motherhood programs
  • Education & housing for disadvantaged children
  • Healthcare & social support for underprivileged families

Operating in all 64 districts of Bangladesh, the foundation builds residences, schools, and medical facilities, ensuring a brighter future for orphans, disabled individuals, and marginalized groups. Through global fundraising, Marfia continues to expand her foundation's reach.

Marfia Institute of Social Sciences (MISS)

One of her most ambitious projects is the Marfia Institute of Social Sciences (MISS)—a residential educational and vocational institute for orphaned and disadvantaged children. MISS provides:

Free education & skill development

Boarding, meals, & medical care

A nurturing, secure environment

Through MISS, Marfia aims to empower the next generation with the knowledge and skills needed to break the cycle of poverty and become independent, productive citizens.

A Multifaceted Personality

Beyond her business and philanthropy, Marfia is a writer, poet, singer, actor, model, and interior designer. She plans to release her own music album, showcasing her passion for storytelling through art. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, gardening, and traveling.

As a smart, pious, and fashionable woman, as well as a devoted mother of three, Marfia envisions creating a modern care center for mentally challenged children, further extending her maternal instincts to serve society.
